The free plan is available to all users at no charge and includes limited features as described on our pricing page. No credit card is required.
Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly at the current advertised rate. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

You retain ownership of your context data, preferences, and any content you sync through Portable. You grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the Service.
Context synced through AI model providers is processed by those providers under their own terms. We do not warrant the accuracy, originality, or fitness of any model output. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any content before relying on it.
The Portable platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the platform without permission.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
Portable relies on third-party services to operate, including model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and infrastructure providers (Resend, Neon, Render). Your use of those services through Portable is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PORTABLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Portable and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Portable regarding the Service. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
